Role: Site Manager
Location: Central London
This business specialises in delivering Design & Build projects usually worth £5m - £10m. Typical projects are based across central London and Southeast England. The company has been successfully running for 25 years and is known for the renowned projects in central London for exclusive clients. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Site Manager who has strong background in delivering D&B projects from inception to completion.

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + package
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager. You’ll be expected to manage all trades on site ensuring sub-contractors are completing work to an exceptional level and to the correct timeframe. You will directly report into the Project Manager.

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager. You’ll be expected to manage all trades on site ensuring sub-contractors are completing work to an exceptional level and to the correct timeframe. You will directly report into the Project Manager.
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of construction projects; time, procurement, contractors
- Manage sub-contractors, including the monitoring of contractor attendance and progress; provide direct instruction and support as necessary such that contractual arrangements are achieved.
- Ensure that detailed plans are available commensurate with the overall project plan such that material and resources can be delivered to meet scheduled deadlines.
- Ensure all materials are delivered to site to meet production needs
- S/C Meetings are undertaken and minutes produced.
- Ensure all operatives are competent to carry out their works.
- Ensure that safe working practices and safety procedures are fully implemented across the site/project/contract
- Ensure that all additional work is identified and that the Senior Site Manager and/or Project Manager, Commercial Manager or Contract Manager is fully aware of all potential opportunities.
- Comply with Site Managers responsibilities as laid down in the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental Policy and complete the relevant documentation on a weekly/monthly basis
- Working under the direction of a Senior Site Manager, Project Manager or Contract Manager.
- Effective daily use of appropriate company information systems and databases
- Comply with Company policies, procedures and instructions at all times
- Implement new ideas and methods and continue to see ways of both improving contribution to the division’s goals and enhancing the reputation of the Company.
To be successful you must:
- Excellent communication skills
- Have a specialist trades background
- Must be willing to travel into London
- Experience on working on/running fitout projects valued £5million+
