Our client, a build environment consultancy, is looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Bristol.

Your core responsibilities will be:
- Providing support for project delivery on a daily basis.
- Assist in providing building cost advice at various RIBA stages, such as feasibility studies, cost plans, and pre-tender estimates.
- Perform measurements in accordance with defined standards.
- Assist with determining the cost of building plans and alternative proposals.
- Assist with tender preparation, issuing, review, and reporting.
- Attendance and involvement to contract meetings.
- Providing cost estimates for building projects.
- Assist in the creation of monthly cost reports.
- Assist with valuing and agreeing on post-contract variations.
- Assist with cost reports and final accounts.
- Checking calculations and papers for accuracy.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis, market testing, data collection, and more.
- Assist in filing project documents and confirming compliance with QA criteria.
- Develop the abilities that will allow you to be the project's single point of contact, responsible for all aspects.
- Developing relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree (Surveying, RICS accredited course).
- Previous experience working in a consultancy environment.
- Motivated to become an MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor.
