Job description
A unique opportunity to support the construction of a one-of-a-kind renewable energy storage facility. You’ll be helping to make renewables more flexible, reduce waste, decrease dependence on foreign gas, and ensure the UK meets its net-zero goals.
Following a successful £300 million capital raise, they are ready to move forward with the construction phase and have commenced civil and preparatory works.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing two key contractors operating under NEC forms of contract, along with various additional critical subcontract packages. Since this is an Option B contract, experience in the remeasurement of works is essential.
Additionally, you will be responsible for tasks such as assessing payment applications, evaluating variations, managing change, overseeing risk and opportunity management, and resolving final accounts.

- Demonstrable experience gained as a senior quantity surveyor working on large-scale, complex civil construction projects
- A robust and deep knowledge of the NEC form of contract, ideally NEC4, along with experience of option B
- A degree in Quantity Surveying
