Job Title: Project Manager (NEC 4)

Location: South West 

Contract Length: 2 Years

Hourly Rate: £40 - £46 per hour

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to oversee a major highway project on a 2-year contract with a Tier 1 Consultancy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in the highways sector, with a proven track record of delivering on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the delivery of a major highway project, ensuring all project milestones are met.
• Oversee project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring compliance with NEC 4 contract terms.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and local authorities.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Ensure quality standards are upheld throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular progress reports to the client and key stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Extensive experience as a Project Manager in the highways or infrastructure sector.
• Proven experience managing projects under NEC 4 contracts.
• Strong client-side experience, with the ability to manage client expectations and deliver exceptional service.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience working with local authorities, particularly in the highways sector.
• Relevant project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
