Job description
I am currently working with a company who has 50 years of experience working in the Water sector and are looking for a Mechanical Site Fitters.
Site-based role, mostly working in the Midlands and South of England. Regional and nationwide travel will be required, with regular overnight stays.

Responsibilities
- Carrying out on-site mechanical installation works associated a range of scraper bridges and other fabricated products for wastewater and water treatment plants. These are heavy fabricated steel structures and experience in this type of work is essential.
- Working with various types of pipework – stainless, ductile, mild steel, etc.
- Completing repairs, upgrades and refurbishment works to existing installed systems.
Experience
- Engineering or similar qualification, ideally to City & Guilds / HNC or equivalent level.
- Experience in a similar role within the utilities sector and/or M&E engineering environment.
- Candidates should have experience in steelwork assembly, welding and site mechanical works.
- Demonstrable training/qualifications in welding, steel fixing or similar.
- Experience of structural steelwork and steel product installation would be an advantage
