£40,000 - £60,000 per annum
 
A Health & Safety specialist is looking to grow their Fire Consultancy department with the addition of a Fire Risk Assessor.
 
The Sussex based organisation provides a wide range of H&S advice across the built environment. The friendly and enthusiastic organisation take great pride in delivering high levels of professional expertise. Due to continued success the firm is looking to grow by adding a competent Fire Risk Assessor.
 
The opportunity is to work in collaboration with the Director of Fire Safety providing a range of fire safety services across Sussex and surrounding home counties. Typical projects range from £200k to £50million. The work is diverse you the successful Fire Risk Assessor will operate across several sectors. The team is currently delivering projects in the commercial, retail and private residential industries.
 
We are looking for a confident and competent professional, this is a client facing role you will liaise with important stakeholders and manage an impress client portfolio. Responsibilities
 
  • Conduct fire risk assessments on a mixture of structures
  • Identify non-compliance considering specific regulatory requirements
  • Access fire compartmentation and escape routes
  • Ensure compliance with local fire safety regulations
  • Identify high risk environments
  • Examine designs for new and existing buildings
  • Identify fire load, fire systems
 
Fire Risk Assessor
  • CFPA European Diploma in Fire Protection (or equivalent)
  • Proven fire consultancy experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Fire regulations
  • Complex buildings background
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Membership of IFE (desirable)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Full UK driver’s licence
