A large, Tier M&E contractor with a rich history spanning back decades and specialising in residential, student accommodation and hotel projects across the UK, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to help deliver a High Rise Residential project located in the City Of London which is set to be completed Spring 2026.

- Oversee and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Lead the design, specification, and development of mechanical systems and components, including HVAC, piping, and other building services.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with electrical, plumbing, and structural engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other building services.
- Ensure all mechanical systems comply with relevant industry codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Monitor project costs, prepare budgets, and work to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
- Identify potential risks in mechanical engineering designs and projects, implementing strategies to mitigate them.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress, quality of installation, and adherence to design specifications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing technical queries, providing updates, and ensuring client expectations are met.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to procure equipment and materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare detailed project documentation, including reports, drawings, and technical specifications for project handover and future reference.
