Interested in joining a principal civils contractor on a high-profile infrastructure project in London?


We are recruiting an Engineering Assistant to join this business on the delivery of an earthworks package. This role will involve supporting in the production of drawings, models, and strategies on the delivery of earthworks and landscaping.


As Engineering Assistant, you will be responsible for: 
  • Conception and creation of methodology of earthworks and drainage
  • Ensuring compliancy of the design to the requirements
  • 3D modelling of earthworks, landscaping and temporary drainage using Civil 3D
  • Producing relevant 2D drawings for the needs of the team
  • Material quantities calculation using 3D models in Civil 3D
  • Stockpile design and movement planning with Civil 3D and Excel
  • To fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adhering to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy and Management Plans. 

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A degree or relevant qualififcation in Civil Engineering
  • To be proficient and completely autonomous in Civil 3D
  • Good knowledge reading technical plans and extracting relevant information from 2D drawings and 3D models 
  • Attention to detail to create accurate drawings
  • An experience of BIM environment and GIS processes  
  • Effective communication skills
  • Internal stakeholder engagement experience
  • Coordination experience

On offer is a basic salary 35,000 - 45,000 per annum dependant on experience and a generous benefite package.
