Senior Mechanical Project Manager

A dynamic, progressing and forward thinking MEP Contractor with a turnover of around £50m and ambitious growth plans requires a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join its team, due to securing one of their largest ever projects – a £15m residential Shell & Core project in London. You will support the site-based, electrically biased Project Director and manage a full mechanical team.

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of commissioning documents
- Planning the development of the project and be responsible for any engineering issues
- Working with the Quantity Surveyor to manage cost and make sure the project is within or below budget
- Use the request for information system to communicate queries with the design team
- Preparing risk assessments and method statements
- Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are followed throughout the project
- Ensure quality control is up to date through inspections and snagging
- Delegation of work to the delivery team
