Our client, a London based multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy, is looking to appoint a Senior Cost Manager to join their team.
We are looking to meet with experienced Cost Manager with previous background in working public and private sector on real estate projects (education, commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare).
You can be based in either Bromley, Barnet or Waterloo offices.
You would be either covering an area of Central London, Kent or Surrey or North London and Hertfordshire.

Your core responsibilities will be:
- You will help grow the business through collaborative relationships with our existing and potential new clients.
- The role will cover the entire project lifecycle, from preparing feasibility estimates to final account settlements.
- Provide commercial knowledge and advice to clients.
- Manage contract change effectively, and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
- Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting in line with clients’ own reporting procedures and governance.
- Undertake valuations of construction work.
- Manage final accounts and ensure they are negotiated and agreed upon in a timely manner.
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience working on real estate projects.
- Demonstrating cost modelling skills.
- Good knowledge of the construction industry.
- Private and public sector experience working on real estate projects.
- +5 years' experience.
- Collaborative approach to projects and the ability to delegate tasks to junior staff efficiently.
- Good communication skills.
- A flexible attitude and self-motivated.
