Job description
We are seeking a Project Planner to assist with the delivery of a ~£30M marine civils package, which is part of the wider Sizewell C programme.
This is a hybrid position, allowing you to primarily work from home, with weekly or bi-weekly site visits.
While your initial focus will be on this project, there is potential for growth into a Senior Planner role, where you can support a broader portfolio of projects.
Joining a specialized Marine Civil Contractor, you will assist the Senior Project Manager in preparing, maintaining, and reporting on the construction phase schedule, in line with the requirements of the NEC form of contract. You will use Primavera P6.
The project is highly technical, involving cofferdam construction and the installation of ~1,000 metres of sheet piling. You will manage numerous interfaces with other contractors on a busy and congested site, with restricted access and limited daily lorry movements.
Construction is set to begin in March 2025, giving you time to develop a robust and achievable construction programme.

- Hold a relevant qualification in Civil Engineering (HNC, HND, or Degree)
- Have several years of site-based experience in civil engineering projects, prior to transitioning into planning
- Have a solid understanding of programme requirements under the NEC form of contract
