Job description
We are recruiting a Project Commercial Lead for a large construction project on a major Transport hub in the Greater Manchester area.
This is a sub-consultant appointment and has been determined as being outside of IR35. We would be able to offer a 12 month contract.
The position sits at a strategic level within an end client entity. You will be responsible mainly for carrying out assurance of all commercial activity undertaken by your supply chain, covering both professional service providers and main contractor.
As well as being highly experience in industry, you'll need all the soft skills to succeed in this role. You'll be dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders, communicating with Exec level one day and then site teams the next.
To be successful in this position, it is thought you will:
-Hold a degree or masters in quantity surveying
-Have extensive experience in working with the NEC form of contract
-Have demonstrable experience in a client side role
-Ideally be Chartered, although this is definitely not essential so don't be put off in applying if you're not
