Job description
We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team within a highly regarded Civil Engineering contractor. The successful candidate will be working on the first phase of a £17m utilities project in South East London and will have the opportunity to step into a leadership role, managing junior team members and overseeing key aspects of the project's commercial activities.
Key responsibilities:
Reporting into a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of your package management whilst liaising directly with senior stakeholders, providing accurate and clear financial reporting, identifying risks and opportunities.
This is a bespoke contract but is largely based on the JCT form of contract. Prior understanding and use of JCT Contracts would be beneficial.

Key responsibilities:
- Overseeing the change management process and ensuring all variations are properly assessed, valued, and reported.
- Confidently managing loss and recovery, with a strong focus on ensuring accurate and up-to-date reporting.
- Assessing and agreeing variations on subcontractor packages, ensuring clarity and compliance with contractual agreements.
