Job description

We are recruiting a Planning Manager to an end Client in the Transport sector. This position will find you responsible for leading a planning team across a significant and complex construction programme with an anticipated annual investment of ~£50M.

Working for the end Client means you will be able to significantly impact the strategy and delivery of this substantial investment plan, working with project Sponsors from the very early project stages.

The benefits of this position are:
-Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 from home
-A pretty short working day (when compared to what you normally find in the construction sector!)
-A 20% annual bonus, which pays out pretty much every year
-A secure pipeline of varied projects, so lots of job security
-A fixed location

Your primary focus will be on developing, implementing, and delivering effective planning and assurance processes across the programme. You'll lead the planning of projects across all stages of their lifecycle, from concept to delivery and closeout. Projects will all be delivered in a live environment.

This position would suit a Senior Planner or Planning Manager with demonstrable experience of working on a multiyear project/programme in the construction or infrastructure sectors. You’ll need to have led a small team, have extensive experience of Primavera P6 and a strong understanding of the NEC form of contract. You will be a clear communicator. You will be a leader.

In return, you will receive a salary of around 85,000 – 90,000 per annum with a cash allowance of 4,500, a 20% bonus, a share saver scheme, an enhanced employer pension contribution, private medical insurance, discounted travel and a variety of other benefits such as free parking or discounted travel.
