I am exclusively working with a progressive multi-discipline practice in Luton, I have collaborated with them to find a Head of Building Surveying. We are looking for a competent professional to lead the division in Hertfordshire.
 
You will be tasked with developing and strengthening existing stakeholder relationships along with spotting new opportunities. Business development is a key element of the role as you will be trusted to positively add key accounts and future instructions. The successful Partner will lead a team of juniors providing daily support and guidance.
 
We are looking for a confident and courageous client facing professional who is passionate about leading others. The practice is delivering several schemes in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. You the successful Head of Building Surveying will be a good all-round surveyor and come from a proven project background. There is a healthy diet of work spread across the residential, education and commercial sectors. Typical projects range from £40,000 all the way past £10million.
 
The role is 60% managerial and 40% technical. Responsibilities include making strategic decisions which will shape the direction of the department, recruitment and retention, board/progress meetings and financial planning/monitoring are additional tasks.
