Electrical Project Engineer

A large, Tier  M&E contractor with a rich history spanning back decades and specialising in residential, student accommodation and hotel projects across the UK, is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to help deliver a newly-awarded high-end residential scheme in Central London.

This company has cemented its status as a leading company in the building services market and is one of the industry's largest independent contractors.

Duties:
  • Lead and manage the electrical construction activities of the project from start to finish.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project schedules and quality standards.
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance and resolve any conflicts or issues.
  • Manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring they meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and control project progress, budgets, and resources, proactively identifying and mitigating risks or delays.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality control, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with the design team to provide input on constructability, value engineering, and optimization of electrical systems.
  • Maintain effective communication and foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
