BIM/Digital Engineering Lead - Main Contractor

£55,000 - £65,000 + Car Allowance & Paid Travel

Do you have experience working for a main contractor in the digital engineering space?

Are you keen to work on a state-of-the-art project with one of the world’s leading construction companies?

This role is focused on establishing and maintaining robust information requirements and standards, managing processes within a Common Data Environment (CDE), and leading the implementation of effective information management strategies aligned with industry best practices, including ISO 19650.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide information management support across all project phases.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication with clients, internal teams, and other key stakeholders.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of ISO 19650 and other relevant standards.
  • Ensure data security protocols are upheld across all projects.
  • Oversee governance and assurance procedures for digital delivery.
  • Monitor the successful digital handover of information at project close.
  • Attend and contribute to industry events to remain current with BIM advancements.
  • Prepare and manage information requirements, including OIR, AIR, PIR, and EIR, in accordance with ISO 19650.
What You’ll Need:
  • Experience with content management and library systems.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk tools, validation and verification software, visualisation platforms, and databases.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 19650, BS 1192, CDE practices, IFC, COBie, and classification systems.
  • Strong personal effectiveness, including planning, problem-solving, adaptability, and delivering high client satisfaction.
  • Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and innovate.
  • A Level 6 qualification (or equivalent), such as a bachelor's degree, graduate certificate, diploma, or NVQ.
