Rate: Outside IR35 / Umbrella CIS (awaiting IR35 Determination)
Start Date: October
Duration: 6 months

People Group are looking for either a Foreman or Supervisor with demonstrable surfacing and airport experience to work for a Principle Contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Coordination: Direct and manage on-site activities of subcontractors to ensure efficient execution of drainage works.
Quality Control: Ensure all drainage works meet required standards and specifications.
Health & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel.
Project Monitoring: Track progress against the project schedule, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
Reporting: Maintain detailed records and report on daily activities, progress, and any issues encountered.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve any on-site issues, coordinating with project management and subcontractors as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

Extensive experience as a General Foreman or Supervisor, in sufacing works and airport projects.
Experience working for a surfacing contractor
Proven ability to manage and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a construction environment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Desirable:

Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management.
Experience working night shifts and managing projects under tight deadlines
