Job Opportunity: Site Manager
Location: West London
Job Type: Contract

Project: Large-scale frameworks and Office Fit-Out
About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced and highly organised Site Manager to lead the construction works and office/WC fit-out of frameworks project in Hayes. The role demands a proactive and detail-oriented professional with the ability to manage the site efficiently while delivering exceptional results. You will be working alongside a dynamic team, including the M&E Project Manager, Health & Safety Manager, Site Supervisor, and another Site Manager.
This is a hands-on role where you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to final handover, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, schedules, and methodologies to ensure all activities are completed on time and within scope.
Site Leadership
  • Lead on-site teams effectively, fostering a collaborative culture focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Provide clear direction and motivation to achieve project goals.
Health & Safety Management
  • Enforce strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to ensure compliance.
Quality Assurance
  • Oversee all construction activities to ensure work meets project specifications and standards.
  • Address quality issues promptly, documenting processes with QA trackers and sheets.
Resource Management
  • Manage labour, materials, and equipment effectively, ensuring efficient allocation and minimal delays.
Issue Resolution
  • Quickly identify and resolve any on-site conflicts related to personnel, logistics, or materials.
Site Documentation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all site activities, including daily logs and reports.
Coordination with Logistics
  • Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to ensure smooth material deliveries, traffic management, and waste disposal.
Final Handover
  • Supervise the final stages of construction and ensure a seamless handover to the client, including all necessary documentation, certifications, and O&M manuals.
Work Packages
This role will involve managing the following packages across two levels:
  • CSA works
  • Plasterboard wall types
  • Ceiling types
  • Metal and timber doors
  • Raised access flooring (RAF)
  • Toilet cubicles
  • Tiling
  • Passive fire protection
  • Builder’s work holes
Candidate Requirements
To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Experience: Proven track record as a Site Manager in large-scale frameworks construction, office fit-out, or large-scale commercial projects.
  • Qualifications:
    • CSCS Card (Management Level 6/7)
    • SMSTS Certification
    • First Aid Qualification
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
    • Excellent understanding of construction processes, standards, and regulations.
    • Ability to manage large teams and multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • High level of organisation and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to interpret drawings and plans accurately.
    • Proficient computer skills.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Resilient and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
