Senior Quantity Surveyor - Utilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client working on the HS2 team for utility diversion packages. You will be part of a team responsible for the sub contractor management of a package worth circa £30m, taking commercial lead internally and externally. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly project cost reporting and risk meetings
• Manage and assess project variations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and subcontractors
• Mentor and develop junior team members
• Oversee contractual claims, changes, and produce monthly client applications

Ideal Candidate:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (or equivalent)
• Member of RICS, CIOB, or similar professional body (desirable)
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects in a commercial setting
• Knowledge of current construction technology and sustainability considerations
• Experience in managing a range of contracts within complex project environments
