Job Opportunity: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: West London

Salary: Up to £80,000 + £5000 Car Allowance + Package

Their London division specializes in managing high-value projects, including complex refurbishments and specialist basement works. Role Overview:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in overseeing multiple high-value projects. You will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of these projects, ensuring accurate recording of variations, and preparing detailed valuations and final accounts. The role requires strong interaction with various stakeholders and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial Project Management: Oversee the financial management of several projects, ensuring all variations are recorded, priced, and accounted for accurately.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Confidently liaise with Architects, Client Quantity Surveyors, Clients, and Subcontractors.
  • Financial Oversight: Lead the calculation and preparation of company valuations and final accounts. Manage subcontract orders and ensure budget compliance.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present job cost analysis data.
  • Process Improvement: Analyse existing methods and procedures to develop more efficient practices.
Experience and Skills Required:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, particularly in residential projects and refurbishments of listed buildings.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of traditional building methods, with practical, logical, and methodical problem-solving abilities.
  • Professionalism: Ability to act with the highest level of professionalism and align with the company’s image and standards.
  • Communication: Confident in direct dealings with various stakeholders, including Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Clients, and Subcontractors.
