Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor

My client, a highly successful and global contractor, is looking for an experienced Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team, working on a prestigious data centre project in West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of the construction industry on a technically challenging and high-value project.

The Role
As a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will:
  • Prepare and negotiate claims against my client, ensuring the best outcomes for the project and stakeholders.
  • Manage commercial performance, including valuation of works, cost forecasting, and change management.
  • Ensure compliance with contract obligations and proactively mitigate potential risks.
  • Work closely with the project delivery team, providing commercial advice and driving value engineering initiatives.
  • Produce regular reports for senior stakeholders, highlighting risks and opportunities.
What we’re looking for:
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, particularly NEC or JCT.
  • Experience managing MEP subcontractors and handling claims effectively.
  • A proven track record as an MEP Quantity Surveyor, ideally in large-scale or mission-critical projects (e.g., data centres, healthcare, or similar).
