The Role
As a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will:
- Prepare and negotiate claims against my client, ensuring the best outcomes for the project and stakeholders.
- Manage commercial performance, including valuation of works, cost forecasting, and change management.
- Ensure compliance with contract obligations and proactively mitigate potential risks.
- Work closely with the project delivery team, providing commercial advice and driving value engineering initiatives.
- Produce regular reports for senior stakeholders, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, particularly NEC or JCT.
- Experience managing MEP subcontractors and handling claims effectively.
- A proven track record as an MEP Quantity Surveyor, ideally in large-scale or mission-critical projects (e.g., data centres, healthcare, or similar).
