My client is a leading MEP contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex and high-value projects, is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to join their prestigous Central London office. My client is a leading MEP contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex and high-value projects, is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to join their prestigous Central London office. With a focus on data centres and large-scale commercial projects, this is a fantastic opportunity to work on schemes valued up to £100m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the electrical estimating process for major projects, ensuring accurate and competitive tenders.
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and client requirements to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Work closely with the pre-construction, commercial, and design teams to develop value-engineered solutions.
- Source and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Identify project risks and opportunities, providing strategic input to bidding processes.
- Attend client meetings and presentations to support bid submissions.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, ideally at a senior level, within the MEP contracting sector.
- Strong background in estimating for data centres and/or large commercial projects.
- Excellent understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation methodologies.
- Proficiency in estimating software (such as Trimble, Amtech, or similar).
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Competitive salary of £80,000 - £85,000 + package.
