Project Access Manager - Rolling Stock Replacement

Position: Project Access Manager
Rate: £450 Inside IR35 
Location: London
Duration: 4 months+

People Group are looking to recruit a Project Manager with prior experience working Client side to work for a leading rail consultancy on a Rolling Stock Replacement Programme.

Responsibilities: 

• Planning and execution of the remaining CAF and Hitachi type testing prior to the first B23 DLR trains entering passenger service.
• Managing the integration of possession access requirements across RSRP.  Integrating across RSRP projects and interfacing with external and third party works such as DLR Projects and VMAS. 
• Consistently managing the re-prioritisation of works and amending the strategy and access requests to align.
• Liaising with the maintainer and operator to agree access plans, minimising impacts to operational service whilst maximising access for delivery teams.
• Ensure access requests are to standard before being submitted to the maintainer and operator.  Ensure access request timelines are being adhered to by Contractors.

Essentials:

• Experience working Client or Consultancy Side in Possession Access.
• Must have excellent knowledge of Rolling Stock.
• Experience in delivering multiple multi- disciplinary projects in a railway environment to time and to budget
• Must be open to working a flexible schedule which includes engineering hours and weekends.
