Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer – Electrically Bias
Location: Luton (Mobile)
Contract: Permanent
 
Role Summary:
Our client is a leading global business, and they’re seeking an electrically bias Multi Skilled Engineer to ensure the seamless delivery of planned and reactive maintenance tasks on a critical client site. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining subcontractor documentation and adhering to Health and Safety procedures in line with QHSE guidelines.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain QHSE documentation and ensure accessibility via client CAFM systems (eLogbooks, Hazard Reports, SAP, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001/14001 and other quality management systems.
  • Proactively identify and implement innovations to enhance contract performance.
  • Perform and supervise reactive and planned maintenance of M&E systems, including BMS, Fire, HVAC, generators, and LV electrical distribution.
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Complete all tasks in line with Health & Safety at Work policies.
  • Conduct equipment installations and repairs, responding promptly to all maintenance issues.
  • Provide on-call support for emergencies as needed.
 
Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of building and maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Physical fitness for handling tools and components up to 20kg.
  • Ability to acquire a comprehensive understanding of building operations and services.
  • Proven track record of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused with strong attention to detail.
Education & Qualifications:
  • Electrical/Mechanical City & Guilds, Part 1 and 2 or equivalent
  • City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing certification
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds 2382-18)
  • Full, clean UK driving licence (held for at least 3 years)
  • Health & Safety training
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Industry-recognized data installation qualification
  • PASMA/IPAF certification
  • Recognized mechanical qualifications

  • Highly organised, with an ability to plan and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Logical and methodical approach to tasks, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to represent the client professionally.
  • Committed to teamwork, with a customer-first mentality.
  • Mechanical and electrical experience in similar environments is highly desirable.
