One of the UK’s leading, Tier One MEP Contractors requires a Mechanical Project Manager to lead a college refurb project worth £5mil M&E located in the heart of London. The project is due to be completed in 1 year. The company in question boasts a brilliant reputation and staff retention and is renowned for providing unrivalled professional development to its employees.

Duties include:

• Planning the development of the project and be responsible for any engineering issues.
• Prepare reports for; capital cost estimates, project schedules, material take off’s and out to tender schedules.
• Delegation of works to the mechanical engineering and construction team.
• Leading progress report meetings with the board and client.
• Use the request for information system to communicate queries with the design team.
• Preparing risk assessments and method statements.
• Ensure quality control is up to date through inspections and snagging.
• Be able to communicate with clients professionally.
