Are you ready to be part of the future of Facilities Management? My client is a leading provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management, is seeking an IB Systems Manager for a major new project located at our client’s headquarters in Canary Wharf.
As the IB Systems Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing cutting-edge Intelligent Building (IB) systems and monitoring/control technologies. You'll play a key role in ensuring seamless system performance and operations, leading the way as the subject matter expert and the go-to point of contact for any system/network issues. With comprehensive training provided, this is your opportunity to develop new skills in an innovative and future-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of the building’s systems, ensuring everything is in excellent working condition.
• Be the primary point of contact for IB systems, providing first-line responses to system faults and failures.
• Understand and manage the cloud environment for IB systems, including system configurations and dashboards.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities, supplier management, and service contracts.
• Implement predictive maintenance and perform routine checks to ensure optimal system operation.
• Support the commissioning activities, working closely with project teams to integrate and accept new systems.
• Monitor environmental conditions within the building, ensuring optimal temperature, humidity, and comfort for employees.
• Collaborate with the client’s technology and FM teams to resolve any technical issues.
• Lead and support the coaching and development of staff, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to standards.
• Contribute to the development of the operating budget and assist in the growth of new business opportunities.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, proposing solutions that enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Management Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor team members, providing leadership and guidance.
• Manage staffing levels, performance appraisals, and development opportunities.
• Lead by example, embodying the company’s values in all aspects of work.
