Job Title: Assistant Site Manager – Residential Development
Location: West London
Salary: Negotiable
 
About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading residential developer for an Assistant Site Manager to join a prestigious mixed-use development in West London. This multi-phase project will deliver a high-quality residential community, featuring modern apartments, landscaped public spaces, and premium amenities.
The successful candidate will support the Site Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of the project, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and programme adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Support the Site Manager in coordinating subcontractors and site teams to maintain productivity and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and addressing any issues.
  • Monitor and report on progress, quality control, and site logistics, escalating any concerns where necessary.
  • Help to maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, risk assessments, and material deliveries.
  • Work closely with the Site Manager and project team to ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget.
  • Foster a positive and productive site environment, ensuring clear communication between all stakeholders.
 
 
 
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the residential construction sector, preferably on large-scale developments.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health & safety standards.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • A keen eye for detail and quality control to uphold high construction standards.
