Our client, a privately owned, leading global construction and consultancy firm are looking for a highly organised administrator to manage purchase order (PO) process.
In this role you will be in charge of analysing and preparing purchase orders in the system (SAP), verifying the accuracy and precision of purchase data, resolving issues and keeping accurate records.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have great organisational and communication skills, and be able to work both alone and collaboratively.

Responsibilities
- Reviewing and processing invoices to ensure accurate and complete PO data.
- Monitoring and following up on outstanding POs to ensure timely payment.
- Communicating with clients and stakeholders to resolve issues, including discrepancies and disputes.
- Responding to billing and payment enquiries from clients.
- Ensuring accurate and full billing records and reports.
- Assisting with additional accounting and finance tasks as needed.
- Working with other departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting and analysis.
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting and financial regulations and policies.
Requirements
- German proficiency is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with an associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or related fields desirable.
- Previous experience in PO/billing, accounting, or a related profession.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience with billing software and systems, including SAP.
- Expertise with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to handle numerous objectives and deadlines.
- Background in project or construction management is preferred.
