Senior Quantity Surveyor - Leeds

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead major utilities projects with a top-tier contractor!

I am currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team of a large utilities contractor and support them in managing AMP7/AMP8 frameworks. This framework includes Infrastructure, Customer Focused, and Minor Civils clean and waste water capital works. Projects range from £100k to £10m, using NEC4 ECC contracts (Options A, B, C, and E).

Responsibilities:

• Manage cost and value reporting to meet profit targets
• Ensure timely cash receipts aligned with forecasts
• Negotiate effectively with internal teams and clients
• Produce and present monthly CVRs/Profit and Loss accounts
• Ensure accurate valuation and cash collection of completed work
• Oversee sub-contractor and supplier applications and payments
• Implement process improvements to enhance performance
• Manage Early Warning and Compensation Event processes

Requirements:

• Experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in Utilities Contracting
• BSc in Commercial Management/Quantity Surveying or related field
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities
• Full driving licence for site-based travel
