Title: Senior Design & Technical Manager
Contract Type: 12 months Fixed Term Contract
Location: Warwick
An exciting job opportunity for a Senior Design & Technical Manager to work for a leading residential developer on a 12 months fixed term contract. This will be based in Warwick.
What will you be doing?
This position requires a Manager who is delivery and action focused, can identify risks and deliver effective solutions with minimal supervision to ensure delivery on-time in a fast-paced demanding environment. This particular project requires a design lead who has worked at a senior level.
You will deliver results through your experience, effective time-management and progress your projects against plan, finding contingencies and solutions to avoid any slippage to the achievement of the result. Your ability to understand projects, rapidly taking into account the financial and commercial context, will be a prerequisite.
Let’s talk about you…
It is essential that you have experience of closing out challenging projects including refurbishment work and that you have Knowledge and working experience of sectional agreements related to legal completion of residential properties.
It is essential that you have previous experience working for a contractor or developer in the housing sector and can demonstrate a proven track record in a similar role.
A good knowledge of modern methods of construction and timber frame housing is vital.
For this post you will need excellent problem solving, communication and analytical skills. Also project management skills and a high level of computer literacy (Excel, Word and ideally AutoCAD) will be required.
