Job description

A privately owned Principal Civil Contractor with a near 100-year trading history is recruiting a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager for the midlands area.


With a group revenue of over 400M and over 450 direct employees, their primary activity in the UK is the delivery of civils projects in the Rail, Industrial, Pharmaceutical and Energy sectors. 


The UK division has enjoyed quick, sustainable growth over the last 2 years and contributes around 70M of very profitable revenue per annum. Projects typically sit in the 5M - 50M value range, and they work under NEC, JCT and bespoke contract forms.


They will offer you a supportive work environment with plenty of opportunity for growth and progression. As people are their primary asset, the company invests heavily in development. The Senior Management team are very supportive and approachable. They operate with mutual trust and respect.  There is a very flat structure in the UK, which will evolve in line with business growth which in turn will open a defined career path for you.


Interested? Then this is what you'll need:
  • An HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Demonstrable experience as a number one on a civils project with a value more than 20M
  • Strong commercial and contract administration experience, ideally having worked with NEC and JCT
  • Good technical understanding of deep drainage, earthworks, FRC and structures


On offer is a salary of 80,000 - 100,000 with an attractive car allowance and fuel card, a 10% pension contribution, great bonus and 25 day’s holiday
