• Heathrow / Gatwick
• Negotiable Contract Day Rate (Outside IR35)
• Tier I contactor, 3-5 year programmes of work

We are looking for an MEP Design Manager who has experience of working on new and refurbishing schemes, ideally in the Aviation sector. You will be responsible for the pre-construction design management and your role will include: 
- Review tender documentation and identify project risks
- Assisting the design team through the scheme / production design stage and the delivery  team through into implementation and handover.
- Demonstrate design management procedures, review programmes and set design deliverables.
- Attend/chair design team meetings as necessary during contract.
- Monitor and report on design progress, statutory approvals, outstanding information required, subcontractor design, environmental/CDM issues.
- Develop and agree design input/output responsibilities between consultants and subcontractors with design responsibilities.
- Monitor progress and status of RFI's and document control.
