Role: Freelance Health & Safety Manager
Rate: £450 per day
Location: North-West London
Duration: 6-9 months
We are currently seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager for a freelance contract with a leading Tier 1 Contractor. This role will be based on a major project in North-West London, where you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, driving best practices, and fostering a strong safety culture on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain health and safety policies in accordance with industry regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) reviews.
- Provide guidance and training to site teams to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
- Carry out regular site inspections and audits, identifying and addressing potential hazards.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, ensuring a collaborative approach to health and safety.
- Keep up to date with legislation and industry best practices to continuously improve site safety.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent health and safety qualification.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction sector, ideally on large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage teams.
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage site safety requirements.

- Competitive daily rate, depending on experience
