Contracts Manager - Civil Contractor

A niche and highly specialised Marine civil contractor, this business offer a unique service to their client base which sits across both the Public and Private Sectors, including high net worth individuals.
 
Typically operating as a Principal Contractor, they delivery design & build projects up to £20M in value. They excel at winning work by offering alternate technical solutions, and add further value through the ECI process.
 
As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the financial performance of all contracts and business operations in your area. Annual revenue is expected to be around 15M.
• Simultaneously overseeing the delivery of multiple projects, including projects delivered under framework agreements, as well as those won competitively.
• Ensuring projects are completed under price, to prescribed timescales and required quality whilst effectively managing safety, environment and where appropriate heritage issues.
• Significantly contribute to continuous improvement in business processes and construction standards, quality, safety and values across the business.

 
To be successful in this role it is anticipated that you will:

• Have proven experience of managing framework contracts/multiple projects or contracts as either a Senior Project Manager OR Contracts Manager
• Hold a degree (or equivalent) in a related engineering/construction discipline, ideally Civil Engineering.
• Chartership with the ICE would be a nice to have, although by no means essential so don’t be put off applying.
• Have good knowledge of all aspects of successful project delivery gained in the infrastructure/civil engineering sector
• Have excellent commercial awareness and proven experience of delivering profitable works
• Have a clean driving licence and a willingness to travel across the region

 
On offer is a salary of between 80,000 – 90,000 per annum along with a generous car allowance OR fully expensed car, life assurance and DC pension, discretionary bonus and 25 days holiday that increases with service.
