Position: Civil Site Manager - Water

Location: Slough

Contract Duration: 6 Months

About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Site Manager to oversee a significant project within the water sector. This is a pivotal role for a project in Slough, requiring specialized expertise in water civil projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing on-site operations, ensuring project delivery to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Management: Oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality standards, conducting regular inspections and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports, keeping stakeholders informed of project status.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and address any site-related challenges promptly and effectively.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience: Proven experience in managing civil projects within the water sector.
  • Thames Water Passport: Valid Thames Water Passport.
  • Water Hygiene: Up-to-date Water Hygiene certification.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies related to water infrastructure.
Desirable Skills:
  • Temporary Works: Experience in the design, planning, or management of temporary works is highly desirable.
