This longstanding design consultancy is seeking an experienced 4D Visualisation Specialist to join its digital construction team. This position is responsible for integrating 3D models with project schedules to create 4D simulations that visually represent project timelines and progress. Additionally, the role involves producing high-quality 3D visualisations and animations to enhance the presentation and communication of design concepts to clients and stakeholders.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a background in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction and a strong understanding of how BIM is transforming the construction industry. This knowledge and passion will be used to guide clients toward the most effective industry solutions.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a 4D planning or visualisation role, with proven expertise in software such as Synchro 4D, 3DS Max, Navisworks, Revit, and Adobe After Effects.

Your Duties

The successful 4D Visualisation Specialist will work closely with various clients throughout the construction project lifecycle. Core responsibilities include:
  • Developing and maintaining 4D construction models using Synchro 4D.
  • Integrating project schedules with design models to create time-based simulations.
  • Conducting "what if" scenario analyses to compare with baseline models and identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Analysing project schedules to highlight potential risks, delays, and conflicts.
  • Providing regular progress reports using 4D simulations.
  • Assisting in the preparation of presentation materials for stakeholder meetings, ensuring clear and accurate visualisations.
  • Developing high-quality 3D models and renderings using 3DS Max and Vray.
  • Modelling 3D geometry, phased logistics, and temporary works based on project briefs using 3DS Max.
  • Creating animated walkthroughs and flyovers of construction projects to demonstrate the final design and functionality.
