Christian founded People Group in 2004 to solve a recurring problem for his then employer, Mace: why was proactive hiring such a challenge? His vision was to build a recruitment business which serves the construction world and understands its unique needs.
Christian is passionate about building strong, long-term relationships with both clients and candidates. While he still delivers recruitment assignments, his main focus these days is in the development of People Group’s strategy and leading on the development of new business. He’s a self-professed data nerd with a passion for problem-solving, a relentless focus on outputs and a truly customer-centric approach. When he’s not supporting our clients, mentoring our team or monitoring the competitive landscape, you can usually find him behind a barbecue grill or indulging his passion for karaoke.

I have worked in Board level positions within Project Management and Cost Consultancy businesses for over 20+ years, during which time, I have had the pleasure of working with Christian as both a client and a candidate. Throughout this time Christian has demonstrated his extensive knowledge of both my business and competitors, sourcing the right candidates against the roles I have given him.
